Payment Policy

Effective Date: July 12, 2026

At kvik058, we believe every purchase should come with clear, transparent payment terms and straightforward billing. This Payment Policy explains our accepted payment methods, how transactions are processed and secured, how taxes are applied, and how refunds are issued. Our services and products are exclusively offered to customers located in the Netherlands.

All product prices and order totals on our store are listed in Euros (€ / EUR) and include statutory Dutch Value Added Tax (BTW) in accordance with Dutch consumer protection laws.

Payment Methods We Accept
The only accepted payment method on our store is Stripe. All online transactions are securely processed exclusively through the Stripe payment gateway, which is an internationally certified Tier 1 PCI Service Provider.

Through our Stripe checkout, you can complete your purchase using the following supported options:

  • Visa

  • Mastercard

  • Maestro

  • American Express

  • iDEAL

Only the payment options actively displayed within the Stripe checkout interface can be used to complete your order. We do not accept cash on delivery, direct bank transfers outside of Stripe, or paper cheques.

Authorizing Your Payment
When completing a transaction on our website, you authorize kvik058 and our payment processor, Stripe, to charge your designated account for the full order amount shown at checkout.

Before an order is confirmed, payments are subject to electronic verification, fraud screening, and 3D Secure / Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) as required by European banking regulations. Confirmation of your order occurs once the transaction is successfully cleared through Stripe.

Keeping Your Payment Secure
Your financial security is our priority. Transactions are encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS/SSL).

kvik058 never stores, processes, or retains your complete payment card credentials or sensitive financial data on its servers. All sensitive billing details are transmitted directly to and handled exclusively by Stripe's secure infrastructure.

Reviewing and Verifying Orders
To protect customers and maintain security, certain transactions may undergo automated fraud analysis via Stripe. If billing details or shipping information within the Netherlands appear inconsistent, we may temporarily hold the order to verify authorization before dispatching your bathroom accessories. If verification fails, the order will be cancelled and any authorization hold released.

Failed Transactions
If your payment attempt through Stripe is declined:

  • Verify that your billing name, card number, expiry date, and CVC match your card details.

  • Confirm that your card or account is authorized for online transactions and has sufficient funds.

  • Complete any two-factor authentication (such as a banking app notification) required by your bank.

  • If failures persist, please contact your financial institution or try an alternate card via the Stripe checkout.

Value Added Tax (BTW)
In compliance with Dutch legislation, all product prices displayed on kvik058.shop include Dutch Value Added Tax (BTW). The applicable VAT breakdown is shown clearly on your checkout screen and in your invoice confirmation.

How Refunds Work
Approved refunds are always credited directly back through Stripe to the original card or account used to place the order. Under no circumstances will refunds be issued to alternate cards, external bank accounts, or in cash.

  • Once your returned items are received and inspected, refunds are typically processed within 5 to 7 business days.

  • Depending on your bank or card issuer, funds usually appear back in your account within 3 to 5 business days after processing.

  • For comprehensive information on return eligibility, please review our Return and Refund Policy.

Payment Disputes
If you notice an unfamiliar charge or believe an error has occurred, please reach out to our customer support team first so we can promptly investigate and resolve the issue.
